REFLEXOLOGY - MORE THAN A FOOT MASSAGE
Most people would think of reflexology as just a foot massage but it is more than that. In addition to the relaxation it brings, it is an alternative medicine approach that involves applying pressure to various areas of the feet and/or hands using oils or lotions and specific techniques. Reflexologists agree that different areas of the feet correspond to various other areas of the body and that by manipulating these areas, one can improve their health. To learn more about Reflexology, check out the video below (By the UK Associatoin of Reflexology). If you are just ready to relax now, feel free to skip the video and give us a call for an appointment. We can’t wait to see you.

“My reflexology session was so relaxing. James is a musician and your feet are the instrument. He tunes them perfectly. At the end of the session James told me every area of my body that I have been having issues in. He was so precise, right down to the symptoms I was experiencing in each area. I’m adding reflexology to my self care.“
“Been coming to Kinetic Physical Therapy for many years for various muscle and back issues. The therapists have always been able to get me back in working order and send me on my way. They have really expanded their services so I tried Reflexology with James. I tell you he works magic on my feet. After my session I feel so energetic. I don’t know how he does it, but massaging the toes and feet muscles helps with other issues in the body. Once you have a few sessions, you will become a believer. Thank you to James and the whole Team for doing what you do, helping us to regain our strength, mobility and feeling better.“
“I have used several services at Kinetics over the past year. Denise is a wonderful PT. She has been very patient with me as I have had continued pain after hip replacement surgery with continuing and increasing pain. She has taken the time to research information to try to help me. I am in the Wellness Program and enjoy a monthly massage with Jasmine. She is very skilled and works with me, especially when my hip pain is bad. I highly recommend her. I have also done Reflexology with James. I was skeptical, but now totally enjoy my appts with him. The water aerobics classes have saved me over the past 2 years. Since I am unable to do other exercise due to extreme hip pain, the water aerobics has given me the opportunity to continue to exercise. The instructors are well trained and make the classes enjoyable.“
“I had heard of reflexology but never taken advantage of it. Glad I tried it. James put me at ease. He answered my many questions and explained his area of expertise. The blanket was nice and the sound machine helped cover up people talking loudly outside the door. (My only complaint. They were disconcerting and interrupted my treatment. So shhh!! When the room is in use!). James did a fabulous job and my skepticism was put to rest. I felt much calmer. My pain was down to a minimal discomfort and I feel relaxed and ready to fight demolition derby traffic. I would definitely recommend him and will book another session with him. Thanks James!!!“
