Physical Therapy

Many times people tell us, “I didn’t know Physical Therapists did that too.”  So what is physical therapy all about?  It is all about movement and function.  Whether you want to improve your ability to run, exercise, walk, turn your head, work, or even bend over without pain, our physical therapists can help. We believe in a one on one approach with a specialist who are a part of a team of professionals is the best way to get you to function and move at your best.

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy in our heated salt water pool can enhance your rehab.  Aquatic therapy is the scientific practice of physical therapy in an aquatic/water environment by physical therapists and physical therapists assistants. Aquatic Physical Therapy includes but is not limited to treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, health, wellness and fitness of client populations in an aquatic environment. The unique properties of the water enhance treatments for clients across the age span with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular/pulmonary, and integumentary (skin) diseases, disorders, or conditions.

Whether your goal is workout recovery, pain management, mental well-being, or whole body wellness to rejuvenate your body, cryotherapy is for you.  Step in and chill out with your cryotherapy session.

Rejuvenate your body with whole body Cryotherapy

Occupational Therapy

Most of the time when people hear Occupational Therapy, they think of something to do with career counseling, but Occupational Therapy helps patients recover or develop skills needed for the activities of daily living, including self-care, leisure, independent living and work.  Patients who benefit from occupational therapy, or OT, include people who have had strokes, people with handwriting or fine motor challenges, autism and other developmental disorders.  In particular we have Occupational therapists who are Nationally Certified Hand Therapists and who specialize in injuries related to the hand.  Our other Occupational therapists specialize in working with children with developmental delays or disorders

Speech Therapy

Speech disorders occur when a person is unable to produce speech sounds correctly or fluently, or has problems with their voice or a quality of sound.  Language disorders occur when a person has trouble understanding others (receptive) or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language).  This is where Speech Language Pathologists (or Speech Therapists) come in the picture.  Our Speech Therapists are experts in their craft and can get you back on track to enjoying communicating with those who you care about.

Sports Therapy

Our Nationally Certified Orthopedic, Sports, and Strength and Conditioning Specialists are prepared to get you back in the game. When you arrive, you will be asked specific questions related to your particular sport or even to demonstrate some movements. Your diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed based on your goals and desires.

Treatment is likely to involve the use of manual techniques within the treatment room combined with a more specific exercise based program in the gym. Our aim is to return to full physical activity in better shape than you were in before.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joint dysfunction and pain. Massage can help restore flexibility and range of motion as well as increase overall wellness.

Most people would think of reflexology as just a foot massage but it is more than that.  In addition to the relaxation it brings, it is an alternative medicine approach that involves applying pressure to various areas of the feet and/or hands using oils or lotions and specific techniques.  Reflexologists agree that different areas of the feet correspond to various other areas of the body and that by manipulating these areas, one can improve their health.  To learn more about Reflexology, check out the video below (By the UK Associations of Reflexology).  If you are just ready to relax now, feel free to skip the video and give us a call for an appointment.  We can’t wait to see you.

Work Injuries

Injuries at work can occur suddenly, such as a slip or fall, or slowly over time with repetitive strain on an area of the body.  If you are injured at work, remember to make a claim through your employer so that you can begin treatment quickly. Usually an injury that is reported in a timely fashion will facilitate quicker approval for treatment through your employer. Workplace injuries are a common problem.

Dietician & Nutritional Services

Everyone wants to have plenty of energy and live healthy lives. What you eat has a significant impact on your overall health and your energy levels. Working with a Dietician (sometimes called a nutritionist) is one of the best ways to get accurate advice about food and lifestyle choices that affect your health. While internet searches are great, your are a unique person with unique needs. Your Dietician can customize an eating plan that is specific to your goals, your budget, your lifestyle, and your needs so you can live the best life that you desire.

Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness Services Reviews

Kinetic is the best!!! I received a massage from Jazmine a few months ago and she was so amazing and helpful as it was my first experience. About a month and a half later, I started PT and although I only went for about a month due to moving out of state, my pain levels were brought down a lot and strength went up! I am a lot closer to where I want to be and I will be continuing services where I am moving to. Kinetic truly helped me and I’m so glad I was able to start my PT journey here!!!
