Dr. Cameron Prentis is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist from Wilmington, NC. He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from East Carolina University, where his passion for helping individuals regain their mobility and independence first took root. During his time in graduate school, Dr. Cameron honed his skills and deepened his understanding of rehabilitation through extensive hands-on experience and a variety of internships.
One of the defining moments in Dr. Cameron’s career was his first internship at Kinetic, a clinic where he immediately felt at home. “I loved the people, I loved the environment, and I loved the approach to patient care,” he recalls. This experience shaped his philosophy of care, emphasizing a patient-centered approach that focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that fit each individual’s needs and goals. Dr. Cameron is committed to providing compassionate, empathetic care and works tirelessly to help his patients overcome their physical challenges with confidence.
His clinical expertise includes treating a wide range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. He prides himself on his ability to not only restore function but to inspire patients through their recovery journeys, celebrating each milestone along the way. Dr. Cameron is known for his warm, approachable demeanor, always striving to make each session both productive and motivating.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cameron leads an active lifestyle and enjoys staying fit through activities like golfing and running. He also loves spending quality time with his wife, exploring new hobbies, and discovering new adventures together.
