Maryn Gates

Maryn Gates is a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant originally from Kinston, North Carolina. She chose a career in physical therapy because she has always loved people and wanted to have a meaningful role in helping others through their healing journey. For Maryn, being a PTA is about more than exercises and rehabilitation—it’s about building relationships, encouraging patients through the difficult days, celebrating their progress, and helping them get back to the people, activities, and life they love. Maryn strives to make every patient feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their recovery. She believes that even the smallest victories are worth celebrating and considers it a privilege to walk alongside her patients as they work toward their goals.

Outside of work, Maryn enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting her favorite vacation spot, the Outer Banks, and relaxing with some of her favorite books, movies, and shows. Her favorites include The Lady’s Mine, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Gilmore Girls. Most of all, Maryn’s love for people inspires her both inside and outside of the clinic.
